Delicious ramen and buns! Dropped by on a Saturday for lunch and our table of 5 was seated immediately. Service was fast, and they even had chopstick trainers and a plastic cup for our toddler daughter. The restaurant is small and cozy. The pork belly bao buns are a burst of flavor from the fluffy bun, the juicy pork belly, sweet & sour pickles, and crunchy onion crisps! Ramen here is not your traditional Japanese ramen, but they do a great job of blending fusion flavors with delicious broth and chewy noodles. The character buns are very tasty but the price is slightly steep for how small they are. We enjoyed nutella bunnies and ube unicorns. They were a delightful end to our meal!

Service was really good! My server, the girl with the slicked back long pony tail, really knows how to whip up a conversation! She recommended the flying piggy as our main dish. Our food was awesome! I loved the delicious soup when I slurped it with the noodles. The dessert was a awesome way to end off my dinner. The ambiance of the restaurant is perfect. The songs played in the background was top notch! Will definitely come again.

Where do i start !! Everything was amazing from the customer service to the delicious food. We had a little bit of everything.. Fried rice a side of the corn cheese which was AWESOME by the way as well as the chicken teriyaki & Yakisoba and of course we had to try the buns ! We tried the chicken and the nutella and the nutella by far was our favorite ! The restaurant is beautiful as well in the center of Encinitas ! Huge shoutout to Vinnie one of the servers she was very kind ! Definitely recommend and will be coming back !

I was craving something warm and decided ramen was the way to go for a chilly day! I did a takeout order of the Flying Pig ramen with the haru ramen broth, the shrimp bao, and the pork belly bao. The text message when the order is ready is very convenient! The staff member who got my order was nice and offered any additional sauces and oils. The food was really good, especially for not eating it directly in the restaurant!

We have been to Harumama Noodles for dinner a few times now and its perfect place for a causal and relaxed meal out. Its family friendly and has a lively vibe. We absolutely love their flavorful ramens and those cute character bao buns! For appetizers, the karaage chicken is a must-try - basically delicious chicken tenders. But I have to say, the takoyaki octopus appetizer wasn't my favorite. The texture and flavors just didn't click for me. My husband enjoyed their steak and rice entree on our last visit. I'm aiming to try one of the noodle dishes next time, drunken noodles look especially enticing. Service is quick, they don't have a dedicated kid's menu but plenty of suitable dishes to pick from for the little ones.

My family and I were visiting Encinitas last month (January) on a Thursday, and hubs looked this place up for lunch. This is located in the plaza off of Encinitas Boulevard, near El Camino Real. I think there was a car dealer at the corner, and the plaza located next to it. We arrived a little after it opened at 11:00am, so there was only one party sitting down. The only server there was helping a customer pick up his takeout order so considering they just opened not too long ago, it took about 10-15 minutes to be seated. Hubs and I ordered the lunch combo ($17.95) - I got the Haru ramen with the pig character bun, and hubs the High Noon ramen with the same pig bun. Kiddo got the Bulgogi beef udon ($15.95). So first, I must say that this is not an authentic Japanese ramen shop. The owners do say that they serve modern Asian fusion food. The broth didn't have the deep flavors that a ramen shop does, and it came with non-traditional ingredients like tofu, bok choy, and chicken reminiscent of yakitori. With that being said, this Asian fusion noodle dish was pretty good. I liked the yuzu oil in the broth. It wasn't too fragrant, but just enough to cut through the creaminess of the tonkotsu broth. The pig bun was sooo cute! The Bulgogi beef udon tasted just like the one served at KBBQs, but in soup form, which was kind of strange in a good way. Kiddo liked it. We also took home the mixed character bun party box (cold refrigerated 2 bunny, 2 chicken, 2 pig buns at $26.95) and asked for 2pc unicorn buns ($8.95) also cold and refrigerated. They were just too cute to not take home. The buns were on the smaller side and expensive, but they did taste pretty yummy. The chicken was good, but personally liked the pig better. I'd eat the bunny (nutella) and unicorn (ube) any time.

My first time to place an order online. Ordered buns for a New Years Day potluck. Read their reviews and saw them on Instagram . Haven't tried them yet because the party is later today . However , wanted to write a quick review . My order was ready when I arrived and I was greeted warmly by Vinie, the manager . She gave me instructions how to warm the buns . Vinie also shared their restaurant's happy hour and lunch menus. She also reminded me to check out their Instagram posts because every month they have something new that goes with the theme of that months ...ie Valentine 's Day. I will pay more attention now . Awesome that they have sake!! They have several locations in San Diego, from Little Italy into North County (Carlsbad and Encinitas ...). They recently opened one in Texas! I cannot wait to taste what I ordered later today. I look forward to dining in soon !
